From an early age, whenever I had nothing to play with, I would immerse myself in drawing, allowing the act of creation to transport me to another world in a profound and almost dreamlike experience.
I believe there are two fundamental joys in painting: the freedom of self-expression, where one creates purely for oneself without constraints or external judgment, and the fulfillment of creating for others, where an artist is entrusted with a vision, meets expectations, and ultimately brings joy to the viewer. This aspect is closely tied to my work as an illustrator, where trust and appreciation form an integral part of the creative process. Having worked as a professional illustrator for many years,
I have recently sought to reconnect with the kind of artistic practice that allows me to lose myself in the process, much like I did in childhood.
Currently, my focus is on abstract painting using the grattage technique. Regardless of scale—whether a small illustration or a large composition—I believe the essence of artistic fulfillment remains the same. For inquiries or collaborations, please feel free to reach out.
