Geisha performance in Manhattan and Brooklyn
J-COLLABO is pleased to announce a very special event. Famed Nara Geisha Kikuno is coming to NYC to demonstrate the ancient art of Geisha hospitality. The first performance will take place on September 6 at Globus Washitsu, but the maximum capacity is 50 guests by invitation only. Please contact us if you are interested in the VIP event. The second performance will take place at J-LABO in Brooklyn on September 7 collaborating with multimedia director Kenji Williams.

This is an exclusive event in collaboration with GLOBUS WASHITSU.
Guests will experience a tea ceremony conducted by Master Souheki Mori of Tea Whisk, Kikuno’s performance with Kento Watanabe, Koto player, and a demonstration by craftsmen from Ishikawa prefecture. Sake and food will be served and guests will receive a special gift bag.

– FALL FESTIVAL –
Geisha Kikuno, performing artist Läle Sayoko, and a Gagaku Orchestra will perform with interactive visuals by creative technologist Tyler Parker.
Directed by Multimedia Director Kenji Williams (BELLA GAIA), with a theme of “KIDOAIRAKU”. (the full gamut of emotions)

Contents: 20-30min “Kidoairaku” performance by Läle Sayoko, Gagaku Orchestra, Tyler Parker and Kenji Willams, 15min Performance by Kikuno, Kento Iwasaki and Hirona Amamiya, demonstration by craftsmen from Ishikawa prefecture, Tea Ceremony, manga, shakyo, origami demonstrations, sake, and snacks.
