KOKESHI Dance Dance
Kokeshi dolls(こけし), which are from the Northern part of Japan, have been around for 150 years, they were originally made as toys for the children of farmers. They have no arms or leg, but a large head and cylindrical body. They are meant to represent little girls. Form a simple toy, it has now become a famous recognized Japanese craft, and an established souvenir among tourists.
